National Ranking Initiative
Since 2018, the ministry has spearheaded a national classification and ranking exercise for universities—testing nine institutions in Aden, Hadramout, and Taiz. Field visits are underway with broader plans to evaluate up to 30 universities—aiming to boost transparency, competitiveness, and academic accountability.
